Second Timothy Session 8

2 Timothy 3:1-9 describes a coming time of difficult, “perilous” times characterized by people who are self-centered, materialistic, arrogant, and irreligious, despite maintaining a facade of godliness. The passage warns of people who love pleasure over God and are ultimately driven by self-interest, not genuine faith. Paul advises Timothy to avoid these people and instead remain steadfast in the truth of God’s word.
